As of today, it is exactly three weeks until I am going to be married. A lot of people have been asking me if I am excited. My answer is that it is one of the only bright spots in the current storm. I haven’t made a public statement, but if you pay attention on Facebook you may have noticed Trinity Academy is no longer listed as my employer. Due to budget cuts, I was let go as of last Wednesday. Worship this morning at Charisma Church was awesome. God showed up and it was powerful. We had people down at the altar, bowing down before God, and He was changing their lives. The other night after summer camp staff training I was really tired when I got home. It was around 10:30, and I had left for work at 6:50am. But I got on my computer to do my mandatory Facebook check, and I was blown away to see that The Rocket Summer was giving away a live CD from his most recent tour. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. You all have done something I could never do, you have given birth to a child. Thank you God for giving that duty to Eve and not Adam. On Mother’s Day I figured it would be appropriate to tell a story about my mom, so here goes.
