Today the world lost a huge innovator in the world of personal electronics. In case you live in a cave and haven’t heard, Steve Jobs died today at the age of 56 after battling cancer for a while. As I look at my facebook wall it is covered with people saying things about Jobs. It is hard to find a person today that has not owned at least one Apple product. It is crazy to think about all the lives he has had an impact on. With Jobs taking a leave of absence this past January, and then stepping down as the CEO of Apple this August, people had to know his health was seriously suffering. When Life Gives You…
Have you ever been in a place where you just longed for change? Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to pack everything up and just move somewhere else. To a place where I didn’t know anyone, a place that was completely new to me. I’m a bigger dreamer, and the idea of being able to reinvent myself fascinates me. 180 Days
Today is day 180 of the school year, the last day of the year. It is the day that everyone has been counting down to. Next week there will be no more early arrivals, no more after school. Instead we will be heading full steam in to summer camp. Today is the last day youth staff at the Y will wear the red staff shirts. Next Monday with the start of summer camp we make the switch to the new blue shirts. It is crazy to think that 180 days have already gone by. [Read more…] about 180 Days
