*Record Scratch* *Freeze Frame* (Time For An Update)

January 3, 2024

Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got here. It’s been a while since I’ve put anything on here. So long that I had to go through the site and make sure I updated things before this post went live. It was somewhat embarrassing how old the picture of my family on my about page was. A lot of life has happened since the last time I updated my site. So I guess I’ll get started on my late Christmas card/New Year, New Me post.

Ezekiel is now eight and Addilyn is six. Both are excelling in school. They both decided to ditch their nicknames and be called by their full name (which is tough for me to remember and do). Ezekiel practices martial arts and is a green belt and has started piano lessons. Addilyn takes gymnastics, but possibly dance and getting back into soccer is in her near future. Angela has gone back to work full-time. We have moved since the last time I’ve posted on here but are still in Johnston County.

So where does that leave me? On December 31, my time at Community of Hope Ministries came to an end. I’m beyond grateful for the seven and a half years I spent there. When I think back at the growth of the programs at COHM in the time I was there, it is truly mind blowing. The staff and volunteers that I worked with are like family to me now. “We can’t make this stuff up,” is something we said over and over again as we saw God provide in ways that only He can. To say it was a blessing to work at COHM is an understatement. These things made choosing to leave one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever made.

But now it is time for me to step into a new season of life. A couple of years ago, I got my real estate license. I am now jumping into real estate full-time. I am with Grow Local Realty, a small, local firm. It’s a small group of agents who are passionate about and invested in the area we are in. My motto for real estate is “helping people get to where they want to be” and that truly is my goal. God calls us to serve others, and I see this as an extension of that. I have seen the benefits of home ownership in my own life, and I want to help others reap those same benefits.

Is this a big leap of faith? Yes. Does it feel strange and crazy? Yes. Will God lead and guide me through this? Also, yes.

So I’m here for any and all of your real estate needs. If you want to buy or sell a house, I’m your guy. If you know someone who wants to buy or sell a house, I’m your guy. Even if you live across the country from me, I can help you. Grow Local has a network of agents across the country that I’d be happy to refer you to. Just reach out and let’s talk about how I can help you achieve your real estate goals.

And maybe, just maybe, there will be more posts coming in the near future. Stay tuned!

until next time…
