A few weeks ago my family went on vacation to the beach. I figured my two-year-old son, Zeke, would have a good time, but that turned out to be an understatement. He absolutely loved it. One day, we were walking down the stairs to the beach and as soon as his feet hit the sand, he dove face first into it. He moved around as if he was making a sand angel. Picture of the Week – 5/19/15
May is one of the craziest months of the year for me. Being a summer camp director, this is when all the preparation hits full force. Staff training starts and takes up at least 2 nights a week. With all the other things added on, life and the other parts of my job never seem to slow down to compensate. During May it is easy to get hyper focused on all the tasks that need to get done. Pee On It!
Last week Angela and I went to Myrtle Beach. It was nice to get away for a few days and just relax. One day, to cool off from the heat, we headed into the ocean. It felt great, but the waves were a lot rougher than they normally are at Myrtle.
