In the first month of her life, Addilyn had two ultrasounds. Angela and I didn’t tell many people about it because there was a chance that we would find out that everything was as it should be and there was nothing to worry about. The first ultrasound was because at her three-day appointment the doctor noticed she had a sacral dimple and because of how it looked thought there was a chance she had spina bifida occulta. This wouldn’t have been major, but something she would have to deal with for her whole life. The second one was a few weeks later when her belly button wasn’t healing as quickly as they would have liked and there was a chance her bladder was still connected to the umbilical cord. Just A Normal Day At Camp
Today when I got to work I had a lot of things on my mind. We are really short staffed this week and it has been hectic. At some point during the day I was supposed to get a call from a mom who had some concerns. It was starting to rain and weather reports were saying it would stay that way all day, so I had to start coming up with a plan for what to do if that happened.
