This past week my church had a commissioning service for our mission team going to Guatemala. It is one of my favorite services we have every year. It is a service in which I have seen God move in miraculous ways over and over. I was in the worship band that night and was going to the service with intentions to minister to others. I knew there would be a time to pray for the people going on the trip, so I wasn’t really going with the expectation to be ministered to. The Gift of Giving
Giving is something I’ve wanted to write about for a while, but with it being a touchy subject I’ve avoided it. Even though I’m very passionate about it I have stayed away from it, but something happened this week that was too cool not to share.

A Few Dollars At The Food Pantry
Every month there is a guy that comes to the Community of Hope Ministries food pantry. Each person is allowed to come once a month, but there is something that makes this guy stand out. Every time he comes to the pantry, he makes sure to find my boss and give her a couple of dollars. As far as I know, he is the only person that comes through our pantry and does this. The Blooming of a Seed
This past week, Angela and I received a lot of furniture from her parents. They are in the process of downsizing their house and didn’t have space for all the stuff they had. What started as seeing if we wanted the grill and patio furniture turned into so much more. By the end of the move, we had received way more than we expected.
