About a month ago I found out the school I work at is closing after this school year. That was an awesome meeting to go to. I am getting ready to wrap up my first year teaching and was looking forward to how I could improve upon things in the fall. But apparently that is not in the cards. Moving On Up
Now that I have you all singing the theme song from The Jeffersons (and if you weren’t I hope you are now), I have some exciting news to share. A few weeks ago, I accepted a position as a youth director at the YMCA of Garner. I will be at a new branch, but still within the YMCA of the Triangle. It has been a long and crazy road getting to this point. It will be sad for me to leave Alexander since I’ve been there for three and a half years and met so many awesome families and kids. I also really enjoy the people that I work with at Alexander, and that will be tough to leave. With that being said, I am really excited about my new opportunity.
