Over the past month I have done a lot of soul searching. I have had many conversations with God about where exactly I am heading. A lot of it has led me to one conclusion; I am broken. I am busted up and falling apart and in need of some help. Last week I was reading something and someone made an interesting claim. They claimed to be perfect. Following Our Founding Fathers
I received a text yesterday that said, “I know the Bible says that we are free from sin, but sometimes I wonder. I think I am incapable of resisting *insert sin here*.” The Bible verse they are referencing is John 8:31-32,36, “Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Jesus died on the cross to set us free from our sins, so those that follow Him are free from that bondage.
