I am terrified of heights. I don’t know if that sentence does justice for how I feel about heights. I absolutely hate heights. The worst is when you are standing at the top of hill or mountain and you can’t see the ground over the top. A few years ago when I was in Nicaragua, I decided I was going to hike up a dormant volcano and sand board back down. As we were driving up to the volcano I immediately regretted my decision. When we go to the top and had to walk around the rim of the volcano, I just stared at the ground in front of my feet. Preparing for the Unexpected
Seven years ago yesterday, I got phone call that I never thought I would have. I was at Charisma Church setting up for our Christmas production of Narnia. I was in charge of lighting and effects, so I had been busy that whole week climbing ladders and hanging lights in our ceiling. In the middle of setting up, I got a call from my mom. I could tell by her voice that this was not going to be a call I wanted to get. She told me that my cousin Chris had been hit by a car while riding his motorcycle and had died.
