You may be wondering if the post title is a bait and switch to suck you into reading another one of my posts. Would I really be selling my PlayStation 4? That just doesn’t sound like it would make any sense. I agree with you. It does sound random, weird, and out of the ordinary. However, there is not a bait and switch here. My PS4 is really up for sale. Please don’t take this post the wrong way. In what I say next I am not saying that there is anything wrong with owning a PS4. They are great, it was just a personal decision I had to make.
I talk a lot about dreams and why we should pursue them, yet I sit here and barely do that myself. It’s a pretty dumb place to be for me because I am a huge dreamer. I love to dream and often find myself getting so lost in dreams while driving that I don’t even notice I haven’t put on any music and am driving in silence (which is very odd for me). A couple of weeks ago I came to realize: my PS4 was a huge distraction to me. Now I did not spend endless hours on it playing video games, but it was something I did often in my free time instead of chasing my dreams. A few weeks ago I got a huge gut check in the form of a fight with my wife (and no, we were not fighting over me playing video games) and that’s when I made the decision. My PS4 had to go.
It’s time for me to chase my dreams like there is no tomorrow.
It’s time for me to be a better husband.
It’s time for me to get back in shape.
It’s time for me to spend more time with God.
It’s time for me to be a better leader at Charisma Church.
It’s time for my PlayStation 4 to go.
until next time…
