I used to check the stats on my blog every day. Actually, I used to check them multiple times a day. I can check stats on how many people have been to my site, what pages they checked out, if they used a link on social media to get to my site, what country they are from and so much more. I used to check it as if doing that was going to magically increase the number of people going to it. Everyone knows it is totally rational to think that checking your blog’s stats will drive traffic to it. There is no way it could have to do with your post’s content and how often you put up a new one. [Read more…] about Finding Motivation

Picture Of The Week – 2/15/15
In case you missed last week’s introduction to the POTW (pronounced pot-wuh) you can check it out here.
This week’s POTW comes from the 2008 Charisma Youth Transformers Lock-in. This lock-in is widely regarded as one of the best lock-ins in Charisma Youth history. If you have ever been to a lock-in you know that at some point around 3 a.m. things start to get a little loopy. February is most known for being Black History Month, but it is also known for being the “Oh crap I haven’t actually stuck to any of my New Year resolutions” month. It is also the month where the sad, sad reality sets in that football is gone and won’t be back until fall. For fun, and accountability, I figured I would take a look at how I am doing on my goals. Laugh at Yourself
The Super Bowl is today and hopefully the Seattle Seahawks will be winning back to back championships. But a couple of weeks ago, the Seahawks were riding the struggle bus in the NFC Championship game. They weren’t able to get any points on the scoreboard until late in the 3rd quarter. Even then it wasn’t my man crush, Russell Wilson, that scored. It was their punter, Jon Ryan, who threw the first touchdown pass. And when he did, he made an amazing face that took the internet by storm. [Read more…] about Laugh at Yourself
