If you were wondering why I haven’t written any blogs recently, it is because I just spent two weeks in Brazil. The mission trip was really tough and challenging but really rewarding. Out of all the countries I’ve been to, Brazil was the toughest in which to minister. The people there had really closed hearts and there was a huge sense of pride. However, God is still God and He can do anything. We still saw lots of people give their life to Jesus and saw God do lots of other cool things. [Read more…] about A Life Changing Conversation

Following Our Founding Fathers
I received a text yesterday that said, “I know the Bible says that we are free from sin, but sometimes I wonder. I think I am incapable of resisting *insert sin here*.” The Bible verse they are referencing is John 8:31-32,36, “Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Jesus died on the cross to set us free from our sins, so those that follow Him are free from that bondage. The perfect Mother’s Day song is clearly “A Song For Mama” by Boyz II Men. [Read more…] about A Very Special Mother’s Day
Mission Trip to Brazil
One of the things that has had the greatest impact on my life has been to go on mission trips. Last summer I was not able to go and it was tough to see the team leave from my church and for the first time in 6 years not be leaving with them. When the trip to Brazil was announced this year, I knew I was going. The trip is from July 24-August 9. [Read more…] about Mission Trip to Brazil
